Parece mentira que de tan importante acontecimiento ya han transcurrido más de cuatro siglos.

El 14 de septiembre de 1769, nace en Berlín, Alemania, un sabio que aportó mucho a Venezuela, me refiero a Alejandro de Humboldt.

En su famoso libro, VIAJE A LAS REGIONES EQUINOCCIALES DEL NUEVO CONTINENTE, se puede apreciar su gran aporte a Venezuela.

Posteriormente murió en el país que lo vió nacer, el 6 de mayo de 1859.
